Bad Day for Books: Lose Across the Board Week 11 NFL
The books lost all the major lopsided NFL games Sunday and continue to lose to the Cowboys, who have now covered nine straight.
While Dallas has become a public favorite – and with good reason all things considered – their game versus the Ravens was relatively balanced.
The two daggers came from Pittsburgh covering an 8 to 10-point spread in Cleveland with a 15 point win and New England beating San Francisco on the road 30-17. Some of those who bet the Pats earlier in the week lost with a line of -13.5 to -14.
The Rams looked as if they were going to help the books out until Miami closed with a 4-point win. The Dolphins hadn’t scored until middle of the 4th quarter. Miami closed as a -2 favorite with LA opening as the -1 favorite.
Seattle was also seeing heavy action as a -6.5 home favorite and covered against Philadelphia.
Elsewhere the Giants did help the books out a bit by failing to cover a 7 point margin with their six-point win over Chicago.
